Do you have a mentor?

From Tiffany:

I have found one in Mrs. Therolene Beachem. I got to know her through the Apples of Gold ladies' Bible study class. Then about a year ago during a Wednesday night prayer service, I heard her pray... REALLY pray. I knew at that moment that she was the one who God wanted me to learn from. I began to find ways to be around her more often. Now we are great friends, and she takes every opportunity to teach me about being a Godly wife, mother, and servant. She is truly a blessing to me.

Who are you learning from? If you can't name anyone in particular, I strongly encourage you to begin looking around you. Who strives to be obedient to God? Who is faithful and submissive to their husband? Who is a sincere and mature Christian? Who is God leading you toward? A Godly mentor can bless your life!

Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home; to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.—Titus 2:3-5, NIV
